Santo Domingo 

Come with us to discover the first city of the New World: Santo Domingo. Accompanied by the guide who will describe the history of the Dominican Republic, we will visit the main monuments of the capital, the Cathedral "Santa María de la Encarnación", the Museum of the Royal House and the pedestrian walkway of the colonial zone, surrounded by ancient palaces. . After the buffet lunch, we will take a walk along the seafront promenade where we will see the Palace of Fine Arts and the National Theater. During the excursion, we will see a short film that tells the story of the English smuggler and pirate Francis Drake.

Los Haitises National Park

This is an ecotourist excursion; you will be able to know the endemic fauna and the different ecosystems of the Dominican Republic. From Sabana de la Mar by boat you will arrive at the San Lorenzo Bay where the “Los Haitises” National Park begins and you will be able to observe the mangroves. You will visit a fishing village that will provide you with lunch with fresh shrimps and crabs and then you will visit two caves. The excursion will end in the “Bay” where you will be able to observe the starfish.

Jungle

The first stop of this interesting ecological excursion is the archaeological trail of Padre Nuestro, which is located within the "Parque Nacional del Este". The history of the park will be told and the remains of the Taino settlements, the first inhabitants of the Dominican Republic, will be observed. At the end of the road we will visit the fresh water spring inside the cave where it is possible to observe a total of 26 petroglyphs. After a short trip you will reach the Chavón River and on board the traditional boat you will sail uphill until you reach the farm where you will be offered more information about the way of life of the Taínos. 
A traditional Dominican "barbecue" follows, with pork chops, chicken wings, traditional Dominican rice, 'batata', plantains, and various salads. After lunch, those who want can participate in the canoe adventure to a small side river of the Chavón River where freshwater turtles can also be seen. The return is expected around 17:00.
